OKLAHOMA CITY – Metro Tech’s Economic and Workforce Development Manager, Casey Rainbolt, was formally announced as President-elect of Oklahoma Women in Technology (OKWIT) at the Eighth Annual Awards Gala. Rainbolt’s one-year term will begin on January 1st, 2025.
OKWIT is a 501(c)3 holding nonprofit organization of professionals in the technology industry with a determination to bridge the gap between genders in STEM fields. Previously, Rainbolt served as the organization’s Director of Education, where she focused on coordinating STEM learning opportunities for junior high and high school students.
“I am honored and excited to serve as President of Oklahoma Women in Technology,” Rainbolt said. “This organization has been a vital resource for so many, including myself. I look forward to continuing our efforts to support, inspire, and empower women in tech across Oklahoma.”
