The Thanksgiving holiday weekend schedule for City of OKC services is below:

Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, Nov. 28)

  • No trash or recycling pickup. Makeup day Saturday, Nov. 30. Bulky waste pickup not affected.
  • Free fare for bus, OKC Streetcar and RAPID. OKC buses operate on a weekend schedule. RAPID operates on a 30-minute frequency from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. OKC Streetcar operates on a regular schedule.
    • EMBARK’s Transit Center Customer Service and Call Center are closed.
  • Closed:
    • City offices.
    • Household Hazardous Waste Collection Center.
    • Animal Welfare.
    • Municipal Court pay window.
      • Pay online at okc.gov. For details about posting bonds over the holiday weekend, visit okc.gov/courts.
    • OKC Parks recreation centers, community centers, gyms and senior centers.
    • Martin Park Nature Center Visitor Center.
      • Outdoor grounds open 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.
    • Will Rogers Gardens Exhibition Center and Ed Lycan Conservatory.
      • Outdoor grounds open 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Day after Thanksgiving (Friday, Nov. 29)

  • Trash or recycling pickup as usual. Bulky waste pickup not affected.
  • OKC buses operate on a regular schedule. RAPID operates on a regular schedule. OKC Streetcar operates on a regular schedule.
    • Reduced EMBARK Customer Service Hours (8 a.m. – 4 p.m.).
  • Closed:
    • City offices.
    • Household Hazardous Waste Collection Center.
    • Animal Welfare.
    • Municipal Court pay window.
