PRESS RELEASE: ACOG to host a public workshop on transportation safety for Central Oklahoma residents

The Association of Central Oklahoma Governments (ACOG) is hosting a public workshop on transportation safety for Central Oklahoma residents.

Input from the public workshop and its corresponding interactive surveys will inform a comprehensive transportation safety plan for Canadian, Cleveland, Logan and Oklahoma counties, and portions of McClain and Grady counties.  

Attendees will have an opportunity to learn more about the existing traffic safety deficiencies in Central Oklahoma, talk to project planners, and discuss future recommendations for transportation safety improvements as part of the ACOG Regional Safety Action Plan currently in development. The plan will analyze safety needs, identify high-risk locations and factors contributing to crashes and prioritize strategies to address them.
