We are coming up on the 30-year anniversary of one of our nation’s most tragic and domestic terrorist events – the Oklahoma City Bombing that took place on April 19, 1995.
Resulting in 168 deaths, including 19 children and more than 600 injuries, this act carried out by Timothy McVeigh and his accomplice Terry Nichols left the nation questioning its vulnerability to homegrown violence, the role of government in handling radical groups, and how such tragedies could be prevented in the future.
As we look back at the significant historical, social and political weight of this event, a new documentary will be premiering on Netflix on April 19 – Oklahoma City Bombing: American Terror, from director Greg Tillman (Waco: American Apocalypse, Night Stalker: The Hunt For A Serial Killer) and production company Original Productions.
The documentary features crime scene recreations, firsthand accounts from survivors, first responders, and law enforcement, and audio-recorded interviews with McVeigh.
The film premieres on Netflix on Saturday, April 19th, 2025.
