OKLAHOMA CITY — One person was shot and killed late Sunday evening during an argument at a block party in OKC.
The shooting occurred near NE 23rd and Rhode Island Avenue.
Officers with the Oklahoma City Police Department (OKCPD) were sent to the area on reports of a shooting.
Once they arrived they found one person who had been shot. That individual later died at the hospital from the wounds.
UPDATE — Police have now identified the victim as 46-year-old Eddie Norton.
From their investigation, OKCPD detectives believe that the argument happened during a “block party.”
