Oklahoma County calls for land acquisition proposals for new jail

OKLAHOMA CITY — Friday, Oklahoma County issued its official RFP (request for proposal) to acquire land for the new jail voters approved in a bond vote in June 2022.

According to a news release from Chantel Boso, purchasing director:

  • 40 to 80 acres are needed as a construction site.
  • Sealed big proposals to donate or sell are due by March 6, 2023.
  • Government entities have until June 2, 2023 to respond.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oklahoma County will receive sealed proposals in the Oklahoma County Clerk’s Office – 320 Robert S. Kerr, Suite 203 Oklahoma City, OK for the following: Real Property for New Oklahoma County Jail Campus

Due Date: March 6, 2023 before 9:00A.M. 

Due Date for Government Agencies: June 2, 2023 by 5:00 pm
