OKC Parks’ premiere of “Peter and the Starcatcher” slated for Feb. 29

Oklahoma City Parks & Recreation will premiere its production of “Peter and the Starcatcher” Feb. 29 at Taylor Recreation Center, 1115 SW 70th St.

This adult comedy is a century-old story of how a miserable orphan comes to be the boy who would not grow up. From marauding pirates and jungle tyrants to unwilling comrades and unlikely heroes, “Peter and the Starcatcher” explores the depths of greed, despair, the bonds of friendship, duty and love. 

In addition to opening night, there are four more performances:

  • March 1 at 7:30 p.m.
  • March 2 at 2 p.m.
  • March 2 at 7:30 p.m.
  • March 3 at 2 p.m.

This production is recommended for audience members 18 years and older. Tickets are $15 per patron and may be purchased at the door or online at okc.gov/performing-arts.
