OKLAHOMA CITY — Police are investigating a crime scene with five dead in a home in the far western Oklahoma City suburbs between Yukon and Mustang. At least two of those five are children police confirm.

MSgt Gary Knight told Free Press that Metro 911 received a call around 9:35 AM Monday alerting them to problems at a home in the 2800 block of Mirage Street in Oklahoma City between Yukon and Mustang.

When patrol officers with the Oklahoma City Police Department went to the address in the 2800 block of Mirage St., they found five persons dead in the home, all showing signs of having died violently.

The caller is known to police but they are not disclosing who that was, said Knight.

Knight said detectives and the crime scene investigation unit are now processing the entire home as a crime scene.

Because the scene is so big and involves so many deaths, the process is expected to last into Tuesday, said Knight.

The address is in the Oklahoma City limits but the postal city for that address is Yukon which has created some confusion in the press and broadcast news outlets.

This is a developing story. Free Press will continue to give updates as reliable information is obtained.
