Halloween party shootout leaves 2 dead, 1 hospitalized, 1 in custody

OKLAHOMA CITY – A fight at a late-night Halloween party in south OKC turned deadly Saturday night, leaving a chaotic scene with two people dead, another hospitalized, and one suspect in police custody.

Police responded after 1:00am on November 1st to reports of a shooting in the 5700 block of Hicks Ln., near SE 59th Street and Eastern Ave.

Upon arriving, they found what an OKCPD press release described as “a chaotic scene that involved two deceased people under a car, and another person lying near the scene with numerous gunshot wounds.”

The injured man was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he remained Monday morning.

The two deceased were pronounced dead at the scene and were identified as 25-year-old Mayrah Torres and 24-year-old Isaac Lujan-Ochoa.

OKCPD investigators allege that a fight broke out on the property during a late-night Halloween party that resulted in Lujan-Ochoa and the still-unnamed, injured man each allegedly producing guns and shooting the other multiple times.
