OKLAHOMA CITY – A man was found shot to death inside of a south OKC apartment late Saturday night and police have arrested a teenager for the killing.
Just after 11:00pm on Saturday, September 19th, OKCPD say they were alerted to a person with a gun inside the Almonte Apartments in the 5900 block of S. May Ave.
Once police arrived, they found a man already shot to death inside of one of the apartments.
That man’s identity is currently being withheld pending confirmation and notification for next-of-kin.
16-year-old Eliseo Herrera, who had remained at the scene after the shooting, was named as a suspect and taken into custody by police.
Herrera was booked into the Oklahoma County Juvenile Detention Center on a murder complaint.
The shooting is recorded as the 46th homicide in Oklahoma City this year.
