OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City Police have recorded the city’s 18th homicide for 2026 after a man was shot to death in a northwest OKC apartment complex.
Before 11:00am Monday morning, police responded to reports of a shooting in an apartment complex at 3535 N. St. Charles Street near NW 36th Street and N. MacArthur Blvd.
There, they found 63-year-old Norman Robinson dead from gunshot wounds.
Police say investigators at the scene were able to determine that Robinson had become involved in an altercation that had escalated before the shooting.

Based on that information, 38-year-old Aaron Hall Jr. – a neighbor of Robinson’s in the complex – was located shortly after and arrested on a second-degree murder complaint.
No further information was provided regarding details of the shooting or the fight that allegedly preceded it.
Note: As of publication, any information or claims made by law enforcement have not yet been tested in court. Under the law, all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty before a jury of their peers or a plea of guilt.
