OKLAHOMA CITY — A teen Hispanic male was discovered with gunshot wounds lying on the side of Classen Boulevard in Oklahoma City Friday night.
EMSA paramedics were already tending to 15-year-old Diego Esparza-Avila Friday evening around 7:30 when patrol officers with the Oklahoma City Police Department were dispatched to the scene to investigate.
A short time after police arrived, the teen was pronounced dead.
This death marks homicide #57 for the City of Oklahoma City in 2025.
Detectives have not identified any suspects in the case.
