OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — Uptown 23rd District invites the community to gather for the annual Uptown Outside block party on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 4–10 p.m. This year’s celebration will stretch just north of NW 23rd Street from Guernsey to Dewey, filling the corridor with live entertainment, delicious food, local vendors, and vibrant art.

The fall festival returns with a few exciting updates. No longer overlapping with the Oklahoma State Fair, Uptown Outside now offers guests a chance to enjoy crisp autumn weather in a more intimate, walkable space, with booths and activities just steps away from each other to encourage community and connection. The 2025 event also looks ahead to next year’s 100th anniversary of Route 66 and the upcoming Uptown 23rd Streetscape Project, which will transform the district into a safer, more walkable destination while honoring its rich history.

New this year, Uptown Uncorked is back and will take place during Uptown Outside from 6–8 p.m. inside Egg & Ca Phe. This ticketed, intimate tasting event will feature curated small bites from 5 Uptown restaurants, giving guests a chance to savor local flavors. Tickets are $50 and all proceeds go towards supporting district programs and beautification efforts.

Attendees can expect local food trucks and restaurants, craft beverages, live music, and live art demonstrations. The event is designed for all ages, showcasing the creativity, diversity, and community spirit that define Oklahoma City’s Uptown 23rd.

“Uptown Outside is our way of opening the streets to the people who make this district special,” said Helen Palmer, Uptown 23rd Marketing Manager. “It’s about celebrating our neighborhood’s energy, supporting local businesses, and connecting with neighbors and visitors alike.”
