10/10/25 Demolition Update
Here are the latest demolition updates for former Myriad Convention Center. These updates will be sent out every Friday during this phase.

Current Traffic Advisories
- OG&E continues trenching on S EK Gaylord to reroute the electrical lines.
- The far-right lane is closed on S EK Gaylord just south of Reno, but two northbound lanes will still be open. On the north side of Reno, traffic has been reduced to one northbound lane for a half a block.
- The Oklahoma City Streetcar service will temporarily be suspended and replaced with a bus shuttle from Sept. 29 to Oct. 27 so Midwest Wrecking can install structural shoring to allow additional demolition of the former Myriad Convention Center.
- The two eastbound lanes of Sheridan Avenue from Ron Norick Boulevard/Robinson Avenue to South E.K. Gaylord Boulevard will be closed.
- The two westbound lanes of Reno Avenue from South E.K. Gaylord to Thunder Drive/Robinson Avenue will be closed.
Current Demolition Activity
- Crews have spent the week demolishing the southwest side of the building. They will keep working their way to the north and center of the Myriad Convention Center.
- A crew continues to drive piles on the north side of the building to prepare for building demolition.
