2/13/26 Demolition Update
Here are the latest demolition updates for former Myriad Convention Center. These updates will be sent out every Friday during this phase.
Current Traffic Advisories
- February 18 – 22
- Two westbound lanes and one eastbound lane on Sheridan will be closed, as well as one westbound lane on Reno.
- Streetcar service will be temporarily suspended and replaced with a bus shuttle during this time

- From January 19 – March 1, N Broadway Avenue will be closed between W Sheridan Avenue and W Main Street for the installation of a new OG&E manhole.
- The two westbound lanes on Sheridan will also be closed. These lanes should reopen after February 15.
- The contractor has cut a turnaround in the median to assist traffic flow for the hotels.

- INTERMITTENT CLOSURE: January 26 – March 1
- One eastbound and one westbound lane will be temporarily closed on Sheridan Avenue where it crosses under the BNSF bridge.

- INTERMITTENT CLOSURE: January 25 – March 1
- The northbound lane on the east side of E.K. Gaylord, between Reno Ave to Sheridan Ave., will be temporarily closed for utility work.
- Construction will take place 6 a.m. – 6 p.m., seven days a week, and will pause for Thunder games and other large downtown events.

Current Demolition Activity
- The last remaining wall of the building came down on Thursday, February 12
- Debris continues to be hauled off from the site. Over 100 loads of debris are removed on a daily basis.
