OKLAHOMA CITY — Science Museum Oklahoma will bring families together once again for Winter WonderLab, a playful mix of science and holiday cheer held Dec. 20 through 23 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at sciencemuseumok.org/winterwonderlab.
Winter WonderLab turns a portion of the museum into an indoor holiday playground and science fair where families can create, build, test and explore together. Guests can take part in seasonal activities such as an elf workshop, circuit trees, indoor snowball fights, ornament making, slingshots, festive photo opportunities, and more. Every activity is designed to spark curiosity, encourage creativity and give families a fun way to spend time together while school is out.
“Children love science and STEM, and they get excited for the holidays. There is no better way to feed their passion and make holiday memories with the whole family,” said Sherry Marshall, John E. Kirkpatrick President and CEO of Science Museum Oklahoma. “Winter break gives everyone the space to play, imagine and explore. Winter WonderLab brings all of that together in the unique and fun way that only Science Museum Oklahoma can.”
Winter WonderLab is fully indoors, offering families an evening activity in the heart of Oklahoma City’s Adventure District during the chilly holiday season. All activities take place near the museum’s east entrance.
Tickets are $12 for members and $15 for non-members. Admission includes all event-related activities and entry to the Love’s Planetarium’s special shows at no additional cost.
