OKLAHOMA CITY — Get ready to chart a new course at Science Museum Oklahoma’s latest adults-only event: SMO21+: Pirate’s Cove, happening Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.

Leave the kids behind and step into a swashbuckling adventure where science, mystery, and pirate lore collide. Attendees will enjoy a full evening of themed activities, signature cocktails, and exclusive access to the museum after hours. Costumes are encouraged.

Highlights of the night include:

  • Map-making with invisible ink
  • Message in a bottle and buoyancy challenges
  • Mini vortex cannons that fire fog rings
  • Ocean trivia (walk the plank, if you dare)
  • Gunpowder science demonstrations
  • Plus: a secret room and plenty more pirate-style surprises

Tickets for SMO21+: Pirate’s Cove are available now starting at $35.00. VIP tickets offer early entry at 6:30 p.m., exclusive access to the VIP lounge, a complimentary signature cocktail, and discounts on drink refills. General admission begins at 7 p.m. Food, alcoholic, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
