The Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center sends this information as posted below:
OKLAHOMA CITY (Nov. 25, 2025) — Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center is calling on the community to participate in “Giving Tuesday: Give the Gift of Art,” a citywide initiative aimed at enriching arts education in Oklahoma City Public Schools. From now through Dec. 2, individuals and organizations can contribute by donating art supplies or making financial gifts to support the ARTS LAB program.
Art education fosters critical thinking, self-expression and interdisciplinary learning among students. However, many classrooms lack the necessary materials to facilitate creative exploration. To address this need, Oklahoma Contemporary is collecting some of the most needed classroom art supplies, such as acrylic and tempura paints, watercolors, brushes, canvases and painting paper.
By participating in this art supply drive, the community can help equip classrooms, support teachers and inspire the next generation of Oklahoma creators. For more information or to donate supplies, visit okcontemp.org/GivingTuesday or contact the Oklahoma Contemporary Development team at development@okcontemp.org.
