The Labor Day holiday schedule for City of OKC services is below:

Labor Day (Monday, Sept. 1)

  • No trash or recycling pickup. Make-up day Wednesday, Sept. 3. Bulky waste collection as usual.
  • Free fare for OKC buses, OKC Streetcar, RAPID and OKC PLUS Zone 1 ADA Paratransit.
    • Buses and OKC PLUS operate on a weekend schedule.
    • OKC Streetcar operates on a regular schedule until midnight.
    • RAPID operates on a 30-minute frequency from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
    • EMBARK’S Transit Center Customer Service and 235-RIDE Call Center are closed.
    • 235-PLUS Call Center is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Closed:
    • City offices.
    • Household Hazardous Waste Collection Center.
    • Animal Welfare.
    • Municipal Court.
    • OKC Parks recreation centers, community centers, gyms, senior centers and family aquatic centers.
      • All outdoor parks open 5 a.m. – 11 p.m.
    • Martin Park Nature Center Visitor Center.
      • Outdoor grounds open 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.
    • Will Rogers Gardens Exhibition Center and Ed Lycan Conservatory.
      • Outdoor grounds open 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
