Oklahoma City Public Schools (OKCPS) and the OKCPS Foundation send this information as posted below:

Oklahoma City, OK – Oklahoma City Public Schools (OKCPS) and the OKCPS Foundation are proud to announce the 2025–2026 Site Teachers of the Year for each school across the district. These outstanding educators represent the excellence, dedication and passion found in classrooms throughout OKCPS. From this group, a selection committee will identify nine finalists for the OKCPS District Teacher of the Year, which will be announced at the 2026 Stars of Education celebration in May.

“Our teachers remain the heartbeat of OKCPS. Every day, they create environments where students feel seen, challenged, and inspired to reach for more. Because of their commitment, our children are growing as thinkers, problem-solvers, and leaders with purpose,” OKCPS Superintendent Dr. Jamie Polk said. “I am deeply grateful for the work they do, the care they give, and the belief they hold in every child we serve.”

“Congratulations to this year’s OKCPS site teachers of the year!” said Kendra Horn, OKCPS Foundation President and CEO. “These remarkable educators were chosen by their peers for their outstanding impact and commitment to excellence in teaching. Day in and day out, they work tirelessly to unleash their students’ potential. Their leadership inside the classroom and in their schools creates opportunity and strengthens our communities.”
