The OKC Zoo and Botanical Garden Sends this information as posted below:
Enrollment is now open for the Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden’s always popular Spring Break Camp. Kids from Kindergarten through sixth grade can spend the week of March 16 through 20, 2026 at Oklahoma’s wildest Spring Break destination, the OKC Zoo, enjoying unique experiences and learning more about the Zoo’s animal family.
“We all look forward to Spring Break Camp every year,” said Rachael Robinson, OKC Zoo’s Director of Education. “The campers get to experience a full week of Zoo activities, make new friends, and they walk away with a new appreciation for the wildlife and wild places around us.”
This year’s Spring Break Camp theme is Wild & Wonderful Oklahoma with curriculum focused on the many life zones throughout the state which are represented in the Zoo’s nationally ranked, immersive Oklahoma Trails habitat. Oklahoma is home to an incredible variety of wildlife and more biodiversity than almost anywhere else in the country. Some native Oklahoma species can’t be found anywhere else on Earth. Campers will spend each day learning about a different part of the state as they explore Oklahoma Trails and enjoy up-close views of mountain lions, bison, grizzly and black bears, eagles, and other animals that call Oklahoma home.
Enrollment is open to children ages Kindergarten through sixth grade. The cost is $270 per child for ZOOfriends members and $300 per child for non-members and includes a full week of camp. There are no single-day camps available.
“For parents who can’t take a week off work, but want to ensure their kids enjoy a break full of learning, meeting ambassador animals, and going on excursions throughout the Zoo, there’s nothing better than our camp program,” Robinson said.
