PRESS RELEASE: OKC Municipal Court hosts Operation Fresh Start warrant clearing event

The Operation Fresh Start Program offers people an opportunity to clear outstanding Oklahoma City warrants for traffic violations and criminal misdemeanors at a discounted rate—without the fear of arrest. Clearing a warrant may also allow participants to begin the process of reinstating their driver’s license.

Oklahoma City Municipal Court, in partnership with Oklahoma County District Court, will host a Warrant Clearing Event on Friday, Feb. 27, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Garden Oaks Community Center, 3401 NE 16th St.

People with outstanding OKC warrants for unpaid Class “A” tickets dated on or before Dec. 31, 2022, may qualify to clear it at a drastically discounted rate, like paying on time. Example: a $613 speeding ticket could be resolved for $155.

Those who would like to learn about their case status or available program options, contact the Oklahoma City Municipal Court (405) 297-3898 (8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, except holidays) or visit the Municipal Court Customer Service Window, 701 Couch Dr., from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. every day but holidays to pay the ticket or request a hearing about financial difficulties. Oklahoma City Municipal Court also offers several programs and services to help people address their cases without fear of arrest. These programs are available to court patrons daily, ensuring ongoing access to the justice system.
