In this listing, you will find funding opportunities available during this grant cycle for communities and schools. You can also read about upcoming professional development opportunities and calls for artists. Grants for Organizations
Community Arts Experience Grants
Up to $5,000 twice* per fiscal year for audience-based programming Learn more
Community Arts Learning Grants
Up to $5,000 twice* per fiscal year for arts instruction, classes, and workshops in community settings Learn more
Rural Arts Opportunity Grants
Up to $5,000 in select rural counties to support learning-based and audience-based arts programs, and capacity-building and professional development activities Learn more
Oklahoma Arts and the Military Grants**
Up to $5,000 for new and current grantees to support learning-based and audience-based programs serving veterans, active-duty military, and other military-connected Oklahomans Learn more
Alternative Education Community Partnership Grants

Creative Aging Partnership Grants (New!)

Essential Arts Education Grants
Up to $5,000 twice per fiscal year for programs during school hours (10% match) Learn more

Who can apply for Oklahoma Arts Council grants?
Applicants must be a non-religious, nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization; agency of government; sovereign Indian Nation; public library; or college, university, or public school. Eligibility varies based on grant program. Be sure to review guidelines for each.
Programs
We are excited to feature several program offerings related to the arts, professional and community development, and quality of life. This includes opportunities for public art projects and exhibitions for Oklahoma artists.
Leadership Arts XIII
Get equipped to be a community arts leader through this program centered on four, two-day spring sessions for 30 class members. Applications open this fall!
Kickstart 66 Tour
Come learn about resources available for the “Mother Road’s” centennial and beyond from the Oklahoma Arts Council and a host of other statewide organizations. Reserve a seat for Sapulpa on September 12 or Arcadia on October 3.
Creative Aging Exchanges
Four virtual exchanges are planned for FY25 to equip individuals to serve older Oklahomans through the arts. Bookmark the linked page and check it often for updates on dates and topics.
Docent Trainings
Train to become a volunteer docent at the Oklahoma State Capitol. Trainings begin July 17 and September 11.
Oklahoma Teaching Artist Roster Applications
Apply to join our vetted list of teaching artists available for programs in communities and schools. Reserve a seat at our Teaching Artist Convening, August 2, in Oklahoma City by contacting jennifer.allen-barron@arts.ok.gov.

Calls for Artists
Several opportunities for artists to submit qualifications for projects of the Oklahoma Art in Public Places program will be announced soon. Artists can also submit portfolios for exhibitions in the Capitol galleries.
