ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Members of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists have elected Marissa Mangrum, M.S.R.S., R.T.(T), of Choctaw, Oklahoma, to serve on the ASRT Board of Directors as president-elect for the 2025-2026 term. She was officially installed during the ASRT Annual Governance and House of Delegates Meeting in June.
Mangrum previously served as ASRT Board vice president, secretary and treasurer. Her history of ASRT volunteer service includes serving as a member of the ASRT Commission and chair and delegate of the Radiation Therapy Chapter. She also served as a radiation therapy representative for the Oklahoma Society of Radiologic Technologists.
Mangrum is a program director and associate professor for the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. She has been a registered radiation therapist for 22 years.
Established in 1920, ASRT represents health care professionals who perform medical imaging procedures or plan and deliver radiation therapy treatments. With more than 156,000 members, its mission is to advance and elevate the medical imaging and radiation therapy profession and to enhance the quality and safety of patient care.
