OKLAHOMA CITY, September 29, 2025 – Performances begin October 9, 2025 for OKC Rep’s production of LIFE SUCKS. by Aaron Posner, directed by Benita de Wit.
“This production combines the talents of an innovative director, imaginative designers, and an extremely compelling cast of mostly OKC-based actors,” said Executive Artistic Director, Emily Comisar. “The question of whether or not life sucks is what’s at the heart of the play. I know audiences will find, after two delightful hours in the theater, that indeed it does not.”
The ensemble includes Cecilia Alali, Jeffrey Ambrosini, Scott Guthrie, Ahmad Kamal, Ashley J. Mandanas, Karen Sabo, and Kaylene Snarsky. Performances run October 9-19 in the Te Ata Theater at Oklahoma Contemporary. There are currently two post-show events planned for LIFE SUCKS. There will be a cast talkback following the 7pm performance on Wednesday, October 15 and a panel discussion about adapting classic works for a contemporary audience following the 2pm performance on Saturday, October 18.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
