Oklahoma City, OK – July 18, 2025 – Prepare for liftoff, Oklahoma City! The much-anticipated traveling immersive art installation, The Cicada, has arrived in Oklahoma City. Presented by Enid based art collective Itinerant Immersive, The Cicada is open at Lively Beerworks, 815 SW 2nd St., through the end of August 2025.
Step aboard this seventy foot long abandoned spaceship turned art installation and explore something that is truly out of this world! The Cicada invites people of all ages to uncover the mysteries of its hauntingly beautiful interstellar design, crafted to ignite the imagination and transport you to galaxies far, far away.
Ben Ezzell, founder of Itinerant Immersive, shares, “We believe that transformative art experiences should be accessible to everyone. Immersive art has the power to connect people, spark curiosity, and create lasting memories, and we’re committed to bringing that magic to communities of all shapes and sizes.”
Admission is $10 plus tax, regular hours are:
• Friday: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Saturday: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Sunday: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
The Cicada will remain at Lively Beerworks through August 31, 2025 before launching to its next destination.
