As we soak up the last weeks of summer, it is a great time to start planning for the school year ahead. EMBARK’s Haul Pass program is ready to help students and schools get moving this fall, at no cost!
The Haul Pass provides free public transportation for students 18 and under across Oklahoma City and the greater metro area. Whether it’s getting to school, attending a field trip, or learning how to navigate the city, the program offers a safe, eco-friendly, and educational way for students to ride.
Available to all students and schools, the Haul Pass supports independence and sustainability from the first bell to the final period.
Who is Eligible?
- Youth age 18 and younger who are traveling within our service area are eligible to receive free fare on all fixed-route buses, RAPID NW, and OKC Streetcar service. Students eligible to attend school beyond age 18 may also access Haul Pass.
How it Works
All participants must fill out the online form
- Age 11 and Younger: No photo is required.
- Ages 12 and Older: Please provide a headshot picture without hoodies or sunglasses on a neutral background for an EMBARK ID. Please also provide proof of age with one of the following documents:
- Birth certificate.
- Driver’s license.
- Student ID or proof of current school enrollment, such as a transcript or class schedule.
- State or military ID.
- Ages 19 and older: After completing the application form a member of the Customer Service team will contact you.
Haul Pass Guidelines
- Youth are required to present their Haul Pass to receive free fare transit benefits.
- EMBARK is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged passes.
- Haul passes are non-refundable, non-redeemable, and non-transferable.
- Lost passes should be reported immediately to EMBARK at 405-235-RIDE (7433) or via embarkokc@okc.gov for deactivation. Replacement IDs are available for $5.
- A printed copy of the form can be completed at the Customer Service counter at the downtown Transit Center.
