Science Museum Oklahoma is shaking things up this fall with Spirit Labs, a new three-part tasting fundraising series where science meets spirits for a good cause. From tequila to bourbon to wine, each event pairs hands-on science experiences with curated pours, and every ticket helps support the museum’s mission to make science fun, accessible, and hands-on for all.
The series kicks off with The Agave Experiment on September 12, where guests can dive into the distillation process, explore the chemistry of agave, and have some fun with the infamous worm. The Barrel Formula, taking place October 3, turns the spotlight to bourbon, while The Grape Reaction on November 7 rounds out the series with an evening of wine and wonder. Every ticket sold helps fund the museum’s interactive educational outreach programs, reaching children and families across the state.
“This is more than a night out for spirit enthusiasts,” said Sherry Marshall, John E. Kirkpatrick president and CEO of Science Museum Oklahoma. “It’s an opportunity to support the next generation of innovators, explorers, and thinkers. With every sip, guests are investing in access to science.”
