OKLAHOMA CITY – Diversion Hub is hosting its first health-focused event, Health at the Hub, on October 17 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at its main office at 220 NW 10th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73103. The free event, open to the public, brings health resources and services in high demand to one location, helping justice-involved individuals and their families to reach the care they need.
Attendees will have access to a shot clinic and STD/STI testing. BeHeard will offer free showers and laundry services, and RISE Program will offer free haircuts for men and women. Additional resources for physical and mental health will be available through several community partners, including Community Health Centers of Oklahoma, Variety Care, Red Rock, NorthCare, OCARTA, and others. The event will feature health-focused giveaways and health education.
Free parking will be available at the event. Transportation assistance can be requested by calling 405-594-8843.
