OKLAHOMA CITY – [February 10, 2025]: City Care is thrilled to announce the appointment of three new members to its Board of Directors: Pam Millington, Kristi Leonard, and Mallory O’Neill. Each brings extensive professional experience, community dedication and unwavering passion for City Care’s work to end homelessness and build a stronger, more inclusive community where everyone has a place to call home.

“Pam, Kristi, and Mallory each bring unique gifts that will strengthen our leadership at a pivotal moment for our organization,” said Rachel Freeman, City Care’s Chief Executive Officer. “Their experience, perspectives, and heart for our neighbors experiencing homelessness will help us broaden our impact and serve our communities with excellence and compassion.”

Pam Millington joins the board following a career spanning healthcare leadership and faith-based local and global community development. For 19 years, Pam served as the Missions and Outreach Pastor at Crossings Community Church, where she built numerous partnerships with schools and non-profits. Pam has also held senior leadership roles at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and Willow View Mental Health System, giving her vast experience in complex care systems. She remains actively engaged in her community through board service and volunteer work with local schools, women in recovery programs, Safe Families and City Care’s own services. Her background uniquely positions her to guide City Care’s work for vulnerable populations, including those in need of physical healing on their way to housing stability.

Kristi Leonard brings accomplished nonprofit leadership and donor engagement experience to the City Care board. As Director of Individual Giving at the Oklahoma City Zoo, she leads strategies that deepen relationships with philanthropic supporters and expand community investment. Kristi has also served in numerous volunteer leadership roles, including President of the Junior League of Oklahoma City, as well as board service with Free To Live, Smart Start Central Oklahoma and the Casady School Parents Organization. Her blend of fundraising expertise and community leadership will develop City Care’s ability to grow sustainable support for its mission ahead.

Mallory O’Neill, Director of Marketing and Business Development at Johnson & Associates, brings leadership, fundraising and marketing expertise to the City Care board. Along with guiding strategy and culture at a respected civil engineering firm, Mallory has served in leadership roles at the Downtown Oklahoma City Partnership, Cox Convention Center and at the then Chesapeake Energy Arena, now the Paycom Center. She has also long been engaged in years of community service through her tenure on the Oklahoma Hall of Fame Second Century Board, as well as City Care’s own committee for The Odyssey Project, one of its largest fundraising and storytelling initiatives. Through over a decade of closely involved advocacy, Mallory has championed City Care’s beliefs that stable housing is the necessary foundation for health, safety, employment, connection, and the opportunity for every neighbor to thrive.

Together, these three leaders join a diverse and committed Board of Directors providing governance, strategic direction and stewardship to advance the organization’s mission across Oklahoma. City Care is grateful for their willingness to serve and looks forward to the impact they will help make in the years ahead.

City Care’s Board of Directors is led by Chris Zach, chair, senior associate at CBRE, with Monique Short, chair-elect, co-founder of Monarch Properties; Ashley Terry, treasurer, vice president of development at Pivot; and Zack Robinson, secretary, investment banker at Bank of Oklahoma. Additional board members include Kim Rolston, attorney; Pam Wilks, founder of Pam Wilks Consulting; Evan Gatewood, partner at Hayes Magrini & Gatewood; Peter Fulmer, broker at Parasol Real Estate; Adrian Young, independent research strategist; Carole Tear, co-owner of Artisan Security Integration; and Dave Deardueff, executive vice president at Alliance Insurance Services.
