Police seek leads in fatal shooting on NE 23rd Street in OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY — Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred late Saturday night in northeast Oklahoma City.

The death marks homicide #55 for the City of Oklahoma City in 2025.

The victim has been identified but no suspects are being named by the Oklahoma City Police Department at this time, according to MSgt. Gary Knight.

Patrol officers responded about 10:55 p.m. Saturday to a shooting call in the 2700 block of NE 23rd Street.

The victim, 53-year-old Glenn Denson, was taken to an area hospital, where he later died.

The address is at the intersection of N.E. 23rd Street and Farris Avenue east of I-35.

As of Monday, detectives had not identified a suspect in the killing.
