The OKC Zoo and Botanical Garden sends this information as posted below:
The Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden is excited to continue its annual partnership with the Curbside Chronicle for its September issue which includes a free OKC Zoo general admission ticket.
Curbside Chronicle is Oklahoma’s award-winning street paper created to provide both a voice and employment opportunities for people who are experiencing and at risk of homelessness. The popular “OKC Zoo” issue of the magazine will be on sale beginning, Friday, August 29, for a $2 suggested donation from Curbside vendors throughout the Oklahoma City metro area.
Pick up a copy (or two) of Curbside to learn more about the OKC Zoo, its experts, animal family, events, and programs like free Caretaker Chats. This issue also includes a full-size park map and a free general admission voucher good for one adult, child, or senior admission.
“We’re delighted to continue this partnership with Curbside Chronicle and provide an opportunity for Oklahomans to visit the Zoo with this special ticket offer,” said OKC Zoo’s Executive Director and CEO, Dwight Lawson. “Fall is an ideal time to discover the Zoo. Our animal family including our young elephant calf and zebra foal are more active with the cooler weather, and favorite events like Haunt the Zoo are in full swing.”
Enjoy the magazine’s wildly fun original cover design featuring illustrations of several OKC Zoo wildlife ambassadors–African lion, red panda, giraffe, North American river otter, and more–which fans can see in-person while exploring the Zoo and its immersive habitats like Expedition Africa, Sanctuary Asia, and Oklahoma Trails.
To redeem your Curbside Chronicle voucher for admission to the OKC Zoo present it at the Zoo’s ticket windows upon arrival. Vouchers valid through December 31, 2025.
