OKLAHOMA CITY — Two suspects were arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting that killed a man and wounded a woman early Thursday in southeast Oklahoma City.
The death is homicide #46 for the City of Oklahoma City in 2025.
Officers responded about 7:44 a.m. Aug. 14 to a report of gunfire at a home at the intersection of SE 21st Street and Durham Avenue, according to a news release from MSgt Gary Knight with the Oklahoma City Police Department.

James Blue, 56, was inside the residence when he was struck and killed by a shot fired into the home. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A woman inside the house was also wounded by gunfire but is expected to recover.
Detectives believe the gunfire came from a vehicle, and the suspects fled to Wewoka, about 70 miles southeast of Oklahoma City.
Robert Rains, 18, and Azia Nelson-Louie, 20, were arrested in Wewoka and transported back to Oklahoma City. Both were booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center on a murder complaint.
