OKLAHOMA CITY — Police believe a man was shot and killed Wednesday morning following an argument inside a pickup truck.
Patrol officers with the Oklahoma City Police Department were called about 8:47 a.m. to the 3600 block of Parkview Avenue in southwest Oklahoma City. The location is one block west of Woodson Park.
There, they found the body of 35-year-old Omero Quinonez in the bed of a pickup truck parked along the neighborhood street.

From their initial investigation, Detectives believe Quinonez and 25-year-old Tyler Waterman got into an argument inside the vehicle when Waterman shot him. Police said Waterman then fled the scene.
Waterman was later arrested the same day at a residence in Moore and booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center close to midnight on a murder complaint. He is being held without bond.

It is homicide #47 for the City of Oklahoma City in 2025.
Police ask anyone with information about the case to call the homicide tip line at 405-297-1200.
