OKLAHOMA CITY — A 21-year-old man is in custody following a deadly shooting Friday evening in southwest Oklahoma City, marking the city’s 70th homicide of 2025.
Officers responded to a shooting call at 7:33 p.m. Dec. 5 in a parking lot near SW 22nd Street and Independence Avenue. When they arrived, they found Andrea Leete, 22, suffering from gunshot wounds. She was taken to a hospital, where she later died.

Caleb Davila, fled the scene on foot but was later spotted by officers driving a family member’s vehicle, said MSgt. Gary Knight with OKCPD. Davila led them on a pursuit that ended with his surrender in the 2800 block of North May Avenue.
Detectives believe that Leete and Davila were in a dating relationship at the time of the shooting.
Davila was booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center early Saturday morning on complaints of first-degree murder and endangering others while eluding a police officer, according to jail records.
Those records also show that he was booked at 4:06 a.m. Dec. 6. Bond for the murder complaint was set at $10 million.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Homicide Tip-Line at (405) 297-1200.
