Fight in Eastside OKC home leads to shooting death of 18 year old

OKLAHOMA CITY — A fight in a home on Oklahoma City’s Eastside resulted in an 18-year-old man being shot and dying from his wounds at the hospital.

Police are counting the shooting as homicide number 34 of 2023 for the City of Oklahoma City.

The victim is:

  • Monterio Andrews, 18

Saturday evening, May 20, officers with the Oklahoma City Police Department (OKCPD) were sent to a residence at 1325 Bellevidere Drive near NE 10th and I-35 on reports of a shooting.

From investigations, police believe that “an altercation broke out inside of the residence, which led to the victim being shot and killed,” according to a press release.

As of publication, police have not reported any arrests.
