I began working in information technology in 1997 by starting my first company, Internet Publication Systems, with one of my college roommates. We did web design, built computers, and wrote software; basically anything that would keep us involved in technology (and maybe even buy us a couple beers.)
In 2000 I graduated from Drury with BA’s in Business Administration and Computer Science. Since then I have been a technician, a developer, an engineer, a leader, an entrepreneur, a teacher, and always an enthusiast.
Currently I am the owner of GroundWarp Technologies which I founded in 2012 to build mobile applications, web-based software solutions, custom Linux hardware platforms, and information systems consulting.
I am a former President of the Oklahoma City Chapter of the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) and served on the National Board as the Southern District Director. I am Co-Founder Oklahoma City Perl Users Group (OKC Perl Mongers), a former President of the Oklahoma Chapter of the Geospatial Information and Technology Association (GITA), an Eagle Scout, a marathoner, and most importantly, a husband and father of four.
